Carpenter, Dr. LoriLyn. Senior physician on Enya; Dr. Julian Hardesty’s primary assistant.

deSouza, Jillian (Jill). A watch stander in the Satellite Control Center in Starlight.

Drake, Dr. Damien (Balloon). A botanist serving as a permanent member of the Nomenclature Council.

Durda, Dr. Daniel. Geologist who explored The Durda Deep with his cohab, Dr. Tora Ek Durda, along with other geologists and botanists.

Hill, Jamie. Daughter of Sandra Hill; injured by a Nettlepus.

Hoage, Stephen (Steve). Head of the Department of Land Management for ECC; replaced Anderson Winchester Lovett as CEO of ECC.

Lovett, Anderson Winchester (Andy). Cohab of Minuet Hays Lovett; father of Austin Raleigh Lovett, Beaumont Winston Lovett, Cheyenne Dawn Lovett, Deanna Lyn Lovett, Ember Anne Lovett and Friday Lyn Lovett; captain of colony ship Gossamer Wings and CEO of Enya Colonization Corporation.

Smith, Robert (Bob). An agricultural specialist on Survey Team 9, which explored the Northwest Territory Quadrant; co-discoverer of Buffadillos.
